A funny thing happened on the way to adopting a dog named Wild Turkey with Pete McMurray (filing in for Steve Cochran). Following my time on the air with Emily Klehm of South Suburban Humane Society was NHL legendary broadcaster Doc Emrick. He then reached out to me, and offered to pay for the adoption of Wild Turkey and the next five from South Suburban. WOW.
I heard that Emrick was a good guy, and clearly he’s a doctor of hockey. But this is amazing.
So, consider adopting Jonathon Toews, Patrick Kane, Brent Seabrook, and Marion Hossa. (The dog named Scott Darling has since been adopted). See all the Blackhawk named dogs HERE.
National Hockey League legendary broadcaster Emrick and I talk hockey a bit, too.
I offer year-end congrats to volunteers, staff, and partners at Chicago Animal Care & Control—particularly Executive Director Susan Russell.
I chat with newsman Don Norton about why my wife and I love Mexico, particularly one resort called El Dorado Maroma, in Riviera Maya.
