Celebrate all things Hungarian in Chicago: food, dance, art, music, and dogs!
The Hungarian Gulyas Festival is today (July 8), from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and tomorrow (July 9) from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. And, tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. is a fun Hungarian dog show!
The dog show isn’t exactly Westminster, but features a trio of Hungarian dog breeds:
- Hungarian Vizsla
- Transylvanian Kopó
Sunday only! Gulyás with beans—a Hungarian version of chili that comes with beans, sour cream, and paprika. Many other national foods are offered, including all-you-can-eat goulash for all!
Tickets are $20 for adults ($30 for two days), and $5 for children ages 6 to 12.
