If your cat generally loves food, and then for a few days doesn’t eat – we often say, “my cat is just being a finicky cat.” Dr. Colleen Currigan tells me on my national radio Steve Dale’s Pet World, ‘Cats are masters at hiding their illness. It may indicative of a medical problem.”
Listen HERE to Dr. Colleen Currigan, president of the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP).
Behavior changes, sleeping in different places, not using the litter box – all examples of potential medical problems. Currigan says, “If it’s different it has the potential to be significant.”

We also talk about AAFP Cat Friendly Practices – and why that might be advantageous.
