It’s a claim to fame for me – I began the Canine Cruise (and another is Dog Day at then Comiskey Park, now replicated around the country at major and minor league ball parks).
The idea is to bring your dog on a Lake Michigan/Chicago River ride, from the company that happens to do the only real architecture rides (with Chicago Architecture Foundation docents), Mercury Skyline Cruiseline. Through September the Canine Cruise (featured here on WLS-TV) is 10:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. at the Southeast Corner of Wacker and Michigan Ave. (112 E. Wacker Drive). Admission: Adults $34/ Kids under 12 $12/ Dogs $8/ Under 3-years, free.
