Talulah appeared with Steve Cochran and me on Wednesday on our monthly pet adoption segment on WGN Radio. Yes, this six to nine month old pit mix needs some training and direction, but her heart is so good – totally delightful! And that’s pretty amazing considering her story. Police were called when neighbors discovered a guy beating his dog. He was charged with a felony for animal cruelty, but Talulah broke her jaw (and several teeth) as a result. She was treated, and rescued by ,Chicago Canine Rescue.
Talk about being a survivor, she even recovered without incident from the dog flu….some dogs keep bouncing back, and yet – you won’t find a sweeter dog. And she is loyal, devoted and persistently happy – just happy to get up in the morning. Here are some images from her WGN appearance. Also, in pictures hard to tell how uniquely really red Talluah’s coat is. The coloring is quite unique for a pit bull mix (or any dog).
Let’s find the loving home she deserves! Contact Chicago Canine Rescue or email me, firstname.lastname@example.org.
