Throughout life’s moments your pet has been your champion. Be your pet’s champion.
This video, illustrating the human/animal bond, promotes American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) veterinary practices. I have no problem with that, as we only take my pets to AAHA accredited practices.
Only about 15% of veterinary hospitals throughout the U.S. and Canada can claim AAHA accreditation. These hospitals have voluntarily gone above and beyond, and have been evaluated by an outside organization on approximately 900 standards that directly impact pets in their care. The wide-ranging standards include everything from communication with clients to the medical equipment itself and training to use that equipment, to using appropriate anesthesia under various circumstances to internal accounting and management practices and on and on – after all, we’re talking 900 specific requirements. And these requirements shift all the time to keep current with changes in veterinary medicine.
Does your veterinarian have that AAHA logo? It really matters if you do want the very best for your pet.
