100 Beagles On Their Way to Anderson Humane

Dean Daubert, Chief Operations Officer at Anderson Humane talks HERE on Steve Dale’s Other World, WGN Radio, about their  intake of over 100 beagles due to a recent lab and breeding facility that was shut down due to substandard conditions with over 4,000 Beagles.

The good news is that this lab was shut down. But that bad news is that somehow over 4,000 Beagles now require homes, and many of these dogs may have special needs.

Anderson Humane will soon receive their Beagles brigade, and they are likely to be from puppies to grey muzzles and perhaps even a pregnant animal or two. While, there’s overwhelming support, more foster families are needed. To learn more about the Anderson Animal Shelter or to apply to be a foster, visit www.ahconnects.org

Dean also talks about the upcoming pet party, called Pets-AH-Palooza at Northwestern Medicine Field in Geneva, IL it’s  where the Chicago Cougars play baseball – but on this day, September 25, the dogs play.
