A Gem of a Dog from Chicago Canine Rescue to Adopt on WGN Radio

Jade will find a new home, or at least that is the goal. Chicago Canine Rescue Board member Beckie Tomala joins me tomorrow morning (August 8) at 9:10 AM CDT on the Steve Cochran Show on WGN Radio to adopt Jade, a 10-year old Miniature Pinscher.

Please spread the word so we can find this beautiful lady a home – as she was given up because “the family no longer had time for her.” The dog was brought to Chicago Animal Care and Control, but happily intercepted by CRISP (Chicago Rescue Intervention & Support Program)

WHAT??? Given up after 10 years?

This is despicable – but worse when you meet Jade. She is perfect, loves to play and to snuggle. She loves kids and dogs…..all she requires is love and some time. That’s all.

Anna Johnson, executive director of Chicago Canine Rescue concedes to being just a tad torn because she and the entire staff and volunteers at Chicago Canine Rescue have fallen so in love with Jade, they kind of hate to see her go. But going to a good home is, of course, the right thing. Our hope is that we can facilitate, and with your help by spreading the word. Listen at 720 AM or here.

This appearance marks my first time back with Cochran, now with Justin Kauffman, after a few months off because of the station move.

And I have a special announcement to make with this hint: Dogs named Doc, Jay, Scotty and Toews will soon be adopted by Chicago Canine Rescue! And those adoptions with be subsidized.
