Adopt A Dog, Bark in the Park

Share

Pet expert Steve Dale will adopt a dog on WGN Ginger sweet senior is a ready-made pet, and she deserves a loving home even if she is 9-years old.

Tuesday (April 25) 9:35AM CDT on WGN Radio, Steve Cochran and myself will attempt to find Ginger a home from Anti Cruelty. Listen at 720AM or HERE.

She loves to hangout and snuggle. She likes a quieter situation, without little kids who will grab and try to pick her up. Her problem isn’t her temperament so much it is her girth. She will require veterinary input about encouraging some weight loss.

At the Anti Cruelty Society, her fee is waived by the Aged to Perfection Program. Please consider opening your heart and your home.

David Dinger of Anti Cruelty will join in studio and talk about the upcoming Bark in the Park event- the shelter’s biggest fundraiser, which I will partake as a co-emcee on May 21 at The Green, just outside Soldier Field.

The walk steps off at 9 a.m where participants will enjoy sweeping skyline views   The walk will be followed by a morning of fun and long-lasting memories with your pooch on the Stadium Green. Take part in the celebration complete with canine agility courses, product samples from small business sponsors, dog massages, a pawdicure spa, caricature drawings, arts and crafts, relay races, family friendly activities, plus free snacks, souvenir photos, 50/50 cash raffle, and much more.
