African Grey Parrot with the English Accent is Lost and Returned Speaking Spanish

Unsure exactly what Nigel the African Grey Parrot once said, but maybe “Hello Madam Queen” or “Cheerio” when the cheeky bird was once owned by his British owner Darren Chic, who lived in Torrence, CA.

According to Mr. Chic, his pet bird spoke a great deal and did so with an English accent similar to his own.

Somehow the bird was lost, and for four years.

Somehow a microchip eventually led Nigel back back to Chic.

Mr. Chic has no idea where the African Grey Parrot has been for the past four years, except to say that the bird now talks about someone named Larry, speaks with a Spanish accent, and is also now fluently bilingual.  His English accent has disappeared.
