Big Night for Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control

Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control founder and current board secretary Charlie Propsom makes lots of announcements HERE on Steve Dale’s Pet World on WGN Radio.
Right now, there are many more cats (and kittens) at Chicago Animal and Control (CACC), and we talk about why. The great news is that you can adopt a cat (or two) for free all month! And at this moment, Propsom says CACC is actually saving a record number of cats (and kittens).

Chicago Fire’s Christian Stolte is a dog lover, and will be at Big Night
Speaking of cats, we had two cats in-studio: a deaf cat named Frankie and his sister Snowy. They are gorgeous, and you can adopt them! Fill out the adoption application, and email kathy@cacc.org.
Here’s a way to see the kittens.
Big Night is indeed the biggest benefit for Chicago Animal Care and Control, so the nonprofit Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control can help fund equipment and programs.
The event features some of the best 16 chefs around Chicago. Fancy drinks from the era of “purrhibition” will be served at one bar, and there are three more bars in addition to that! Included is renowned Chef Jackie Chen who began all this, with Gilles the cheese guy!
Celebs include TV star Christian Stolte from the show Chicago Fire (he recently celebrated his birthday with homeless dogs and cats at CACC), actor Lucas Neff from the TV series Downward Dog, and underwater dog photographer Seth Casteel is the honorary chair. You can meet all these folks! And, I will be there as the emcee.

I mention that from WGN-TV and CLTV, my pal Paul Lisnek will attend. I am paying his way, because Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control doesn’t accept confederate dollars (which is all Lisnek has).
Big Night is October 25 at the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington St. (at Michigan Avenue), 6 – 9 p.m. So, tons of food, all you want to imbibe, and musical entertainment, too! And, it’s all tax deductible. Most important, you’re saving homeless animals. All this for $120 in advance. Sign up here.
