Alex Blackshire, event coordinator for the Chicago Margarita Festival joins me on WGN Radio on the The Matt Bubala Show HERE to talk about the most important topic ever talked about – EVER on the radio: Margaritas. And esteemed, venerable WGN newsman Roger Badesch tries his first margarita EVER in a historic moment in broadcast history.
The Chicago Margarita festival will be July 28-29 at Navy Pier. Food will be catered by the staff at Navy Pier along with a variety of tequila.
There will be three sessions: 11am-6pm and 7pm-12am on Saturday and 12pm-7pm on Sunday. Fireworks (Saturday night) and live music will also be provided, and snacks. For more information on admission costs or Uber/Lyft discount code, visit chicagomargaritafestival.com.

We also discuss the latest trends in tequilas.
This years festival will feature live bands playing island sounds pairing well with dancing and margaritas. Also, an awe inspiring fire work show over Lake Michigan happens on Saturday evening. Drink tickets must be purchased in advance.
