Following a conversation with Paul Lisnek with former Governor Pat Quinn about elections vs. appointments for the school board, I’m up with Alderman James Cappleman talking about #ChicagoProud. Listen HERE to the WGNPlus Behind the Curtain Podcast.

Paul Lisnek and Steve Dale #ChicagoProud
#ChicagoProud is a way to anyone and everyone to support the good that happens every day in Chicago. I feel there’s been far too much bad press about our City, while good stuff no one hears about happens everyday.
Alderman Cappleman supports the idea and is proudly carrying the torch, but all the Aldermen and the Mayor agree.

Alderman James Cappleman #ChicagoProud
How can you not agree? It’s upsetting to me only that all that is bad in Chicago – and I am realistic and aware of the bad – is getting so much press nationally and internationally that it likely could affect tourism, and perceptions of how people think about Chicago. So, I want to balance the negative by supporting the good.
So, when you see something, anything that makes you proud simply #ChicagoProud in social media. . . take a picture if you want or just write the description of what makes you smile, what makes you proud in Chicago – in your home or your community on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. We describe more HERE.
