There are veterinary behaviorists, veterinarians with a special interest in animal behavior, PhD certified applied animal behaviorists or animal behavior consultants. Look for certification when hiring some to do more than merely training “sit/stay,” but dealing with real pet behavior issues.  Anytime there’s a notable change in your pet’s behavior, first contact your veterinarian to rule out medical possibilities.
