I love my Fresh Wave and and I express my gratitude for inviting myself to participate in their private party with Chicago Blackhawks during the Blackhawk Convention.
Dr. Natalie Marks of Blum Animal Hospital in Chicago making another guest appearance to talk about a national initiative called Stop Lyme. I talk about my podcast, heard HERE on Steve Dale’s Other World on WGNPlus with Global Lyme Alliance Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Harriet Kotsoris, as she discusses about what we know about tick diseases, what we think we know, and what we still need to know Dr. Kotsoris just blew my mind, and in aware of the work the Global Lyme Alliance is going.
She talk about her own kids, and their susceptibility to Lyme, and other tick diseases – even in the big city.
So, why hasn’t the dog flu been in the news? After all, it’s in several states – and most certainly the Chicago area.
Last years thousands of dogs were sickened, and some died. There’s only one and one way only to prevent that from happening again – that is to vaccinate.I answer several text questions:What are the symptoms of dog flu?
I answer several text questions?
- What’s going with a coughing dog?
- Tell me about the vaccination?
- How can I tell if my dog has flu?
- Another texter (which I didn’t read on the air due to a lack of time) noted that I am the reason she got her dog vaccinated for Lyme (and she’s so happy she did because another dog that lives nearby became very ill that wasn’t protected).
- Martha called about her cat who loves to graze on grass.
Check this out: If this Dog Could Talk….Saturday, July 23 8 a.m. to noon meet Dr Natalie Marks and the Dogist (dog photographer) Elias Weiss Friedman at Lakeshore Park East, 450 E.
