Dr. Natalie Marks Loves Chatting About Leptospirosis

Dr. Natalie Marks loves nothing more than chatting about leptospirosis as she does here on the national Steve Dale’s Pet World radio show. Always a problem it’s running rampant these days in many big cities. Lepto is transmitted by city rats but also a very long list of other animals too, including (but not limited to) mice, squirrels, coyotes, unvaccinated dogs and even some farm animals. She explains what lepto is and how it’s not only potentially dangerous to dogs but also all family members – as it can transmit from animals to humans. She also describes how lepto, a bacterial infection is transmitted to dogs.
What’s more, one vaccine works just fine but with only about half the volume, making that vaccine far more comfortable for dogs.
