Duck Does the New York Marathon

I’m uncertain what an emotional support duck is. No matter, Wrinkle, an emotional support Pekin duck, loves to run. And with homemade red booties, he jogged the New York marathon or at least a good part of it. At times the duck’s pace is impressive. No word on whether Wrinkle officially crossed the finish line but he was certainly a crowd favorite. And apparently, no one informed Wrinkle he could opt to use his feathers and wings and flying the race might have been an easier choice. Race officials concede there’s no official rule that ducks cannot compete. However, it’s true, Wrinkle wasn’t wearing a race bib (a race identifying number).
