Guinness World Records Ears: Coonhound Named Lou

Lou the Coonhound just broke the record, according to Guinness World Records, for the world’s longest dog ears with each ear measuring 12.38 inches.

With nothing to do during the pandemic- always knowing her dog’s ears are “extra long,” Paige Olsen one day decided to measure them. Olsen happens to work as a veterinary technician, so she is extra familiar with dogs and dog health.

“Of course everyone wants to touch the ears, they’re very easy to fall in love with just one sighting,” said Olsen. ”Lou is sweet, stubborn and goofy.”

Goofy because when he was a puppy, he would trip over his own ears.
