Dr. Marc Bekoff

Dr. Marc Bekoff is an ethologist and researcher, professor emeritus of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Colorado, Boulder, as well as an author of so many important dog books. His latest book is A Dog’s World: Imagining the Lives of Dogs in a World Without Humans, also with Jessica Pierce.  In 2000 Dr. Beckoff was awarded the Exemplar Award from the Animal Behavior Society for major long-term contributions to the field of animal behavior, he’s an ambassador for Jane Goodall’s international Roots & Shoots program and a longtime collaborator of Dr. Goodall’s.
