Help Find Flea Market Puppy a Home

With all the dogs we’ve successfully adopted on WGN Radio with Steve Cochran , I thought for sure we’d get Charlie a home. My gosh – just a puppy….True enough, a puppy who had a poor start in life and requires training. But then all puppies require training. Steve said on the air, “A dog this cute has to be adopted.”

Well, you’d think so.

I'm amazed Charlie has not been adopted, it's crazy. Here with Steve Cochran

So far, the only applicants didn’t do it – and others might have been dissuaded since he was “on hold.”

Check this out: Charlie was originally bid on at a flea market. Who would do that?

And the new owner apparently did little except to holler at the poor pup.

Dogs can be incredibly resilient – and Charlie’s is just kind of rolling with he punches – this happy-go-lucky approximately four month old pup is too cute not to be adopted.

Charlie’s current home is Famous Fido Rescue No Kill Advocacy Wellness & Learning Center, (3124 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago).

Gloria Lissner, Famous Fido founder/president says, “Even if you decide against Charlie, we may have another dog or cat for you. But Charlie is such a cute boy.”

By the way, Sunday July 10, Famous Fido is hosting a cookout fundraiser, from 1 to 6 p.m.  For $25, all the food, wine, beer you want. There will be tours, and available dogs and cats would love to meet you. There will be raffles. There will also be a specialty bar with signature drinks.
