Help Us To Find this Dog a Home, and Win Stuff Supporting West Suburban Humane
Tabitha, some sort of terrier-mix, is seeking more than some sort of forever home on my dog adoption segment with the West Suburban Humane Society (1901 W. Ogden Ave., Downers Grove), Monday (November 14) at 9:05 AM CDT with Steve Cochran and myself on WGN Radio, listen HERE or 720AM.
Tabitha, who is only about 3-years old, was dumped at animal control in Southern Indiana because, “owner didn’t want to take care.” That’s the bad news. The good news is that she will no doubt find a better place to live – so please share this post……
She had really bad flea allergy dermatitis when she entered the shelter, and looked pretty awful with skin infections and little or no fur in places. Lots of treatments later, today she looks and feels great. And today she is on effective flea protection. Might be safe to say her previous family didn’t care.
She is a happy little dog who wants to share happiness, and deserves better than what she had.
The Howlidays are around the corner, and this holiday season, you can shop for a cause without leaving home during the second annual West Suburban Humane Society “Pawction”, an online bidding fundraiser which will benefit the homeless dogs and cats at the southwest suburban shelter. Pawction will feature great gifts which will give back, as all proceeds will go directly to the West Suburban Humane Society. Pawction, an online eBay-powered bidding auction, will be live for 10 days starting Saturday, November 19, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. CST. through Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. CST…check is out here: http://bit.ly/PAWCTION.
You might even get to see Broadway in Chicago shows like Hamilton, one of many great auction items. Others include autographed Chicago sports team memorabilia, local tours, getaways and hotel stays, tickets to sporting events, designer handbags, jewelry, gift cards for people and pets, family outings all over the Chicago area, and much more. WOW. And best of all, every dollar raised will go to help the West Suburban Humane Society provide medical care and shelter for their dogs and cats until they find their forever home.
Those having completed their holiday shopping or would prefer to donate directly to the West Suburban Humane Society may do so at www.wshs-dg.org.
