“Look What I Found Mom, A Kitten”

Look at what the cat dragged in, or in this case the dog dragged in.  A Yorkshire/Chihuahua/Poodle mix in Abilene, TX took a solo walk and returned with an abandoned kitten. Hazel was let outdoors to “potty,” indeed did her business and then returned with kitty.

Each time the kitten hesitated and stopped in her tracks, Hazel, through a light rain, encouraged the frightened animal to keep following her. Hazel’s “mom” recorded the special moment.  If this isn’t a feel good story, not sure what is. By the way, the kitty is now named Sheba, and Monica’s brother, Michael, has adopted her.
