LYME & TICK DISEASE RESOURCES

www.stoplyme.com: STOP LYMPE is a campaign, and a One Health website from Steve Dale (and Black Dog Radio Productions) which integrates human medicine and veterinary medicine – based on the assumption that dogs are a sentinel for tick disease in people.
Where there are ticks – there’s tick disease….where there’s tick disease in dogs, it follows there is tick disease in people (as people share the same environment as their dogs).
StopLyme is partnership of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Global Lyme Alliance and others to help increase Lyme (and tick disease disease) awareness about protection, prevention and treatment in dogs and in people.

Today GLA has gained national prominence for its commitment to changing the course of Lyme disease by funding ground-breaking research, while expanding education programs for the general public and physicians.
