Mother's Day and Cats, Both Benefit with River Tour

Puss ‘n Boots Cruise on Chicago River, moderated by a docent from the Chicago Architecture Foundation, is the purrfect Mother’s Day outing….Really, year after year, does mom really need another bathrobe or another bouquet of flowers. On the Chicago River cruise, you’ll get the latest 4-1-1 on our City’s architecture , and at the same time help raise funds for Tree House Humane Society.

Mercury Chicago’s Skyline Cruiseline  is hosting this benefit river ride. This is the same company that also is the creator of Chicago’s only dog-friendly cruise, but that doesn’t begin until July.

The Puss n’ Boots River Cruise is May 12 (Sunday), 3:45 to 5:30 p.m. on Chicago’s First Lady….(not the real first lady, the boat – though it should clearly be a ride on a CATamaran). The ride includes some complimentary snacks, and drinks are available for purchase.

Adults $35 (13 years and older); children $10 (5 to 12 years), under 5-years free. Purchase tickets here, or on a few hours before the ride on Wacker Dr. and Michigan Ave. (Southeast corner), if available.
