Dr. John Coyne walks the walk, helping animals get adopted who need it he most. In the Steve Cochran/Steve Dale pet adoption segment, Monday (May 22) at 9:40 AM CDT, with your help Rosie finds a home.

Dr. Coyne joins us with three-month old Labrador/Schnauzer-mix Rosie. Listen HERE, or watch HERE or on CLTV.Pet expert Steve Dale and Steve Cochran adopt a dog from Coyne Veterinary Clinics on WGN Radio

Rosie was apparently unceremoniously dumped with her three littermates at animal control in Dyersburg, TN.

Rosie was transferred to South Suburban Humane Society . LUCKY dog, this seems to be hockey broadcasting legend Doc Emrich’s favorite Chicago area shelter.

This is a model for how animal shelters and veterinary clinics can work hand in paw.

Coyne’s clinics recently became partners with the organization in opening up a low cost clinic in Chicago Heights, IL.  The name of that location is South Suburban Low Cost Veterinary Services.

Dr. Coyne has been involved in checking out 68 dogs removed May 4 from a home in in Center Township after the Lake County, IN sheriff’s department after executing a search warrant for a suspected breeding operation – in plain English: A PUPPY MILL, allegedly.  We thought we may be adopting one of these dogs, but for various reasons, they’re not ready for prime time. Check out what Coyne has done: A GoFundMe Page for these unfortunate dogs. Please help and spread the word.

We’ll talk with Coyne about puppy mills, but mostly, mostly, mostly let’s find Rosie a home.
