“Decoding Your Dog: The Ultimate Experts Explain Common Dog Behaviors and Reveal How to Prevent or Change Unwanted Ones” book signing is what I began to talk about with Bill Moller, WGN radio, Listen HERE.
“Decoding Your Dog” is authored by the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists, I edited the book with Dr.John Ciribiassi and Dr. Debra Horwitz. The book signing and talks by myself and Dr. Ciribassi are on January 26, 11 a.m., at the Anti Cruelty Society You must register in advance for the “Decoding Your Dog,” event – and you can do so here.
I talk about this USAToday.com and USA Today story I wrote on the crisis in veterinary medicine, how pet owners just aren’t seeing the veterinarian and the result is that our pets are getting sicker than they need to, and sometimes pet owners are spending money they could have saved. The answer is as simple – take your pet in once or twice a year for a check up. It’s that easy.
Listener Karen says people don’t go to the veterinarian because they can’t afford to, prices are way too high.
Also, listener Kathy has a biting cat.
