Tree House Humane Society, a no kill cat shelter on Chicago’s north side, has a long history of being the first. And a new history is about to begin. June 2 marked the ground breaking and construction start at the new location, 7225 N. Western Avenue in West Rogers Park. Here highlights from this great event, a game-changer for Chicago animal welfare.
