Zen by Cat for FIP; All Creatures Weird and Dangerous

Peter Cohen and many friends

HEAR Peter Cohen is the co-founder of the non-profit of Zen by Cat to support funding for feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) on Steve Dale’s Pet World, WGN Radio.  Considered treatable today – if you can get the kitties the drugs. FIP Warriors 5.0 supports pet parents to navigate to reach the approximately 12-week treatment process.

FIP treatment isn’t a perfect science and Peter says we need to do better, even perhaps coming up with a versatile vaccine (which possibly could even help people with the human corona virus which causes COVID-19).

By supporting Zen by Cat, you’re by default supporting the EveryCat Health Foundation, a non-profit which raises money to support funding for cat health studies.  The goal of $1 million a year raised; he says, it’s not out of reach.

We also talk about his amazing cat house, the House of Nekko.

All Creatures Wild And Dangerous

An odd conversation HERE on WGN Radio Steve Dale’s Pet World with the only veterinarian I know who treats mythical creatures, including creatures not so mythical perhaps. Dr. Timm Otterson, author of All Creatures Weird and Dangerous.

Queen Back in the Saddle

I talk about how Queen Elizabeth is back in saddle at age 96.
