The Canine Cruise – that’s a Chicago River architecture cruise for dogs. The idea was born on my WGN Radio show. Holly Agra, president and CEO of the Mercury Skyline Cruiseline and myself reproduce that moment on this Steve Dale’s Other World Podcast – LISTEN.
“Holly? What will the architecture highlights of the dog cruise be? I have an idea. The dog parks with the most squirrels and the oldest fire hydrant.”
The Canine Cruise is a 90 minute Chicago River and Lake Michigan Cruise, and continues on Saturdays and Sundays through September 25 (2016). Adults $34 / Kids under 12 $12 / Dogs $8 / Under 3-years rides free.
We talk about how the Chicago River has changed, and how downtown tourism has changed and continues to.
Mercury Skyline Cruiseline offers the original Chicago architecture tour…there are many wannabe’s these days….and we chat about the Windy City’s architecture some too.
Go on the dog cruise – and you get a map of Chicago-friendly Chicago, including the best downtown dog selfie locations.
Can you imagine what it’s like to host all these tourist? Holly has some wacky behind-the-scenes stories.
