Finding homes for homeless animals is never a slam dunk.
Anna Johnson of Chicago Canine Rescue delivered King into the WGN studio, an 8 year old dog who had done nothing wrong. Who knows why the previous family left him a big malnourished, literally tied to the shelter door.
Steve Cochran on WGN Radio and the entire WGN morning crew tried to get King adopted. He’s still available. A Ridgeback mix, he’s not a small dude, he is older but then totally housetrained, and he knows lots of little tricks too. Your friends will be impressed. Most of all, opening your heart to an older dog is a special thing to do.
Interested in King, email me (firstname.lastname@example.org), or contact Chicago Canine Rescue, and ask for Anna.
